Our Instructors

Please note that we at the BMarc School of Driving try to take into consideration all requests for specific instructors however due to scheduling, location, and availability some instructors might not be available. In that instance, another instructor will be assigned.  All of our instructors are available through phone calls, text messages and e-mails.  If e-mailing please indicate which instructor you are requesting.

Bruce M. Marchetti

Bruce M. MarchettiBruce Marchetti is a retired Whitehall Police Officer with 32 years’ experience in Pennsylvania traffic laws, accident investigations, accident diagramming and was a D.A.R.E. instructor for 16 years.

During those years, Bruce has spent countless hours in hazards instruction and consequences of driving while impaired by foreign substances.

He is certified to teach Drivers’ Education by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Department of Education and Pennsylvania Bureau of Driver Licensing and Indiana University. Bruce has instructed thousands of students in safe driving procedures. For participating school districts, Bruce is able to give the drivers examination to students enrolled in the” End Of Course Skills Test” 30+6 program.  Bruce and his wife have been residents in South Park Township for over 35 years.

Brian M. Marchetti

Brian M. Marchetti

Due to the changing economy in the fall of 2011 Brian returned to the Pittsburgh area from Vermont, where he had been employed with the U.S. Forestry Service. While owning and operating his own landscaping business in the South Hills area he successfully completed training and testing to become a certified driving instructor in the state of Pennsylvania in the spring of 2013. Brian’s enthusiasm for working with driving students of all ages and his teaching methods have proven him to be invaluable to the school. Brian, his wife, and two children live in Peters Township.

Colleen M. Ferrari

Colleen M. Ferrari

Colleen received her Master's degree from Carlow University with a special emphasis on Training and Development.  She is currently employed with FedEx Ground and has worked in various business area capacities including the training department.  She lives in the Baldwin community with her 3 children.  

Colleen’s philosophy as a driving instructor is: “It‘s all about engaging young drivers to think about their actions when they get behind the wheel, and develop
safe, smart driving behaviors.”
